Using our knowhow in cabinet manufacture, we habe launched bisiness into
machines used by the nursing and elderly care industry to assist in rehabilitation.

『PON PON TOUCH! Ver2』
In
addition to generally providing more cerebral stimulus, this game was researched
and developed to encourage patients to stand and maintain balance.
The touch panel on “Pon Pon Touch” creates a sense of direct interaction,
and provides a range of games which challenge everything from reaction
speed to memory. With multiple difficulty settings, it also appeals to
a very broad population with different stages of ability.
The game does feature a large hand rail providing stability for players
who need support with standing or balance, but it may also be played seated
when safety dictates.

The variety of games and the exciting feel of direct interaction that
touch panel play provides heightens blood flow to the brain,
enhancing decision making and thought mental processing.

Playable in a standing or seated position. If played standing it encourages
the patient to redevelop balance and stamina for remaining
upright.

The new version now includes 3 difficulties to add more
challenge
to the originally featured 6 games on the machine.

「Snake
Stomper! U」
『Snake Stomper! II』
When
Kyushu University Hospital Department of Rehabilitation and Bandai Namuco’s
Kaikaya Limited got together research and build a game to help elderly patients
presenting leg weakness, “Snake Stomper II was born.
In
this game, the patient stomps on snakes slithering up from under foot. It
features an automated feature which to adapts snake exit rate and speed to the
patients current ability. It is played in a seated position for patient safety.

Drive out the rascally snakes with a good stomp!
Proven to activate various muscles and muscle
groups
which work to prevent falls, including
Tibialis
anterior, gastrocnemius, quadriceps femoris,
and
rectus femoris.

Adjustable game speed (snake frequency and
speed
of motion) for users of all levels.
User ability is measured in the first half of the
game, and an appropriate level
of play is
automatically
calculated at which the player is
challenged
in the second half. Snake exit rate may
also
be adjusted in 3 levels (easy, medium and
hard) using a dial on the upper panel.

Points, hit ratio and reaction speed are
measurements
of how many snakes were hit,
percentage of snakes “killed”, and how much time
it
took to react to snakes.
These functions encourage
the
player to improve.
「Razorback
Revenge!」
『Razorback Revenge!』
This
“hammer-frog” style game may be used as a supplemental rehabilitation activity,
and was developed to induce increase function of the upper limbs and to provide
stimulation to the brain.
Just
as with the other products above, the game auto adjusts to the player from the
number and speed measured in the first half of play. At the end of the game,
points, hit rate, reaction speed, and “body age” is also estimated and
displayed, which motivates the player to improve. This game is played seated
for user safety.

Bring the hammer down with both fists on the reckless
razorbacks!
Improves muscular strength and decision making,
as well as widening field of vision. Razorbacks
appear in a
regular rhythm and are timed with LED lighting
rings.

Razorback exit speed
People have different reaction rates, so we have built in
3 difficulty levels.
There are also 2 different stages: Stage 1 is a warmup,
and
during stage 2, game speed slowly ramps up to
increase
exercise intensity.
■
Newly improved visibilit!
The new game design improves target visibility by
shifting
the overall cabinet color and game field to
white, and
tilting the field to face the player and
improve game concentration. Based on player
feedback,
we also increased hammer handle length by
3
cm and made the hammer heads fatter to enable
access
to players in wheel chairs.
